About Springside Warmbloods
We concentrate on breeding dressage horses. Springside Warmbloods have curated our breeding stock carefully with a focus on bloodlines, type, movement and temperament. The result is a small number of modern performance foals bred each year aimed at all levels of dressage.
Our Selection Process
We are proud of our selection process – our five imported broodmares carry the bloodlines of Donnerhall, Zack, De Niro, Sandro Hit, Argentinus, Florencio, Pik Bube, Londonderry, Hochadel, Weltmeyer and Krack C. Our home-bred mares boast the best of IFS bloodlines including Quaterback, Franklin and Sir Donnerhall.
Stedinger
We are home to ‘Stedinger’, the WBFSH 8th-ranked dressage sire for 2017. He will stand to a limited number of approved outside mares in 2022/2023. We are indebted to Revelwood Stud for importing Stedinger and are privileged to play a small part in continuing Amanda’s legacy of producing high-quality dressage horses for Australian riders.
Our Achievements
In our first years of breeding, we have presented a number of foals for the ACE Group, AWHA and Hannoverian assessments. We have attained many Elite, Platinum and Gold awards. Our For Romance II x Quaterback filly was the Victorian Champion and Australian reserve champion foal on the ACE Group tour in 2019. Our Franklin x Zack filly scored 90.71 % to achieve the 2020 AWHA Open Led Horse Victorian Champion and Australian Reserve Champion filly. In 2021 we won both the Victorian champion filly and colt awards during the ACE Group tour. In 2022 we presented two Top 10 Hannoverian foals and the AWHA National Champion 1-Year-Old Filly.
