Stedinger is a charming, beautiful and very correct stallion. He is an exceptional all-round athlete with excellent movement and super form over fences. He has ranked as high as 8th place on the WBFSH dressage sire rankings (2017). He is the Sire of countless Licensed Stallions & State Premium Mares, top auction horses, champion foals, & International Grand Prix horses around the world. He passes on his excellent attributes to his foals and has created exceptional offspring over a range of mare types and breeds.

Stedinger was the undisputed Young Stallion Champion of the Oldenburger licensing in 2002 and runner-up at the main premium award in 2004. He is licensed for Oldenburg and approved for Hanoverian breeding. He is WFFS negative and Homozygous for black.
After victories in many dressage tests at the medium (M) level, he was trained by Dieter Weichert for the next level in dressage. In spite of a heavy breeding load, Stedinger did an outstanding job at his 70-day test in Neustadt/Dosse.
He finished the performance test with a total index of 131 (dressage 130.72 / jumping 121.92). In 2005 he qualified for the “Bundeschampionate” of dressage horses in Warendorf.
Unfortunately, the recurrence of an old injury prevented him from continuing onto Grand Prix but Stedinger had shown in training that he had the mental capability to go all the way to the top of the sport. It was his undeniable rideability and willingness to please his rider that allowed for such success with Gina onboard.

World Championships Bronze Medallion winner; - Statesman, the bronze medallion Bundeschampionate winner;
- Torveslettens Stamina, the Danish Champion;
- Santiago, winner of the prestigious Nurnberger Burg-Pokal (Small Tour); and
- Spirit of the Age, proudly owned by Bernadette Brune, is successful at the international Grand Prix and was a
member of the Nations Cup Team for Germany at Aachen in 2016.
In Australia, Stedinger is now well represented with his oldest locally bred offspring now 8 years old. In the dressage ring Sonic K, Merricks Sissone, Merricks Sonique, QS Sierra, AWP Stedington and Starlight are but a few of the horses competing well. In the show ring, Revelwood Stedfast has won at the highest levels.

Due to his age (23 in early 2023) Stedinger will no longer be offered with a Live Foal Guarantee (LFG). In lieu of this option additional doses for the same mare in the same season will be available at $500 + GST per dose. Single payments of $1,400/$500 + GST prior to collection and collection and shipping fees paid at the time of shipping. Shipping fees dependant on your location and the type of freight required.

Available during the breeding season which runs from September 1 through to December 22. We collect in the Yarra Valley or at GVEH and can ship Australia wide. Single Dose Frozen $1,400.00 + GST.
Available all year round and shipped Australia wide, Stedinger frozen semen is available for purchase in single doses. Frozen semen is collected by Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital (GVEH) in Victoria, and distributed and shipped by Select Breeders Services (SBS). Single payments of $1,400 + GST per dose payable to the stud with processing and shipping fees paid at the time of shipping. Shipping fees dependant on your location and the type of freight required. We currently have a small number of doses stored in NSW (Scone Equine) and WA (Westvets) available for local shipping.

Although cut short by injury at 15, Stedinger has an enviable performance history commenced in Germany at Hoff Sosath and continued in Australia with Grand Prix rider Gina Montgomery.
